What cookies are
Cookies are small data files placed on your device by websites you visit. We also use functionally similar technologies (localStorage, sessionStorage).
What we use
Strictly necessary
- Authentication session — keeps you signed in. Without it the Service cannot work.
- CSRF tokens — protect form submissions from cross-site request forgery.
- Load balancing — routes you to a healthy server.
Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under most privacy regimes.
Functional
- UI preferences (e.g. sidebar collapsed/expanded, table density).
- Last-used forecast mode so the form loads in the right state.
Analytics
- Aggregated product usage telemetry, used to understand which features are working and where users get stuck.
- We use first-party analytics where possible. Where a third-party processor is used, it is configured with IP-address truncation and no cross-site tracking.
What we don't use
SportsLab does not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or cross-site tracking. We do not sell or share personal information for behavioural advertising.
Managing your preferences
- Browser controls: all major browsers let you block or delete cookies in settings.
- Do Not Track: we honour DNT signals by disabling analytics.
- Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in.
Changes
If we add new categories or processors, this page is updated and material changes are notified in-app.
